Whitley Bay

Whitley Bay is a childhood place to me. Having grown up in Tynemouth, I often made a trip along the sea front towards St Mary's Lighthouse. Which stands proud on the North East Coast line between Blyth and Tynemouth Village.

Although Whitley Bay has had an enduring time recently, there are still some great places to shop. If you are looking for entertainment in the area, a trip to the Whitley Bay Playhouse, which has recently been renovated and brought into the 21st Century and features a whole host of great acts on a regular basis.
